We believe that leadership and teambuilding is best taught in a setting where you can first have fun in an amazing environment. Second, we want you to apply skills with others. We will challenge you to grow physically, emotionally, and socially in ways you have never done before. A Unique Adventure
The majority of activities will occur through experiential learning on location, at the Character Challenge Course. This concept of "learning by doing" is not new, but rarely as powerfully implemented as by facilitators from MAC. Participants will:
- Dangle from trees at 35'
- Plunge down a Giant Swing
- Ride the 370' zip line
- Jump off the top of a telephone pole
- Lift 40' in the air by teams
- Tie knots and harnessing
- Acquire safety instruction and risk managemet
You will transition from being a participant to a facilitator and will have the opportunity to lead team building initiatives. This will occur after you have met requirements. After a day at the Character Challenge Course, discussion will focus on service projects, goal-setting, responsibility, character traits, life skills and more! Minnesota Adventure Camp is stationed at one of Minnesota's finest family facilities, Eagle Beach Resort. The resort features lush grass, a sand beach for a great game of "Melon Ball", beautiful sunsets, great fishing, tennis, basketball, sandlot volleyball and much more.
